The yellow and orange two-piece swimsuit is cut skimpier than the original - and clearly shows the exposed leg joints on the more cheaply designed newer body. The real disappointment is the evening gown. It is one of the most perfect vintage repros I've ever seen. (This green and blue satin/tulle confection is beloved of vintage Barbie fans) But strangely, every millimeter of jewel green satin on this repro gown suddenly, inexplicably faded to olive green. Weird!
