(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful little doll. The face, hair, and vinyl parts are lovely. It's squishy soft, and my daughters loved it. But... the seams burst in just 3 days! They weren't even playing hard, just snuggling and carrying it around with them. The seams are loose and come apart with very little use -- the seams on one arm unraveled completely and the back unraveled. I was able to sew it back up and reinforce all of the seams, but the fabric is a soft, slippery satin-type material that is already badly snagged. The hair styles are also lovely, but only held in place with stitched thread --which, you guessed it, breaks and falls apart before the first day is out. So... it's great for the 4 year old who can be extra careful, but the 1 1/2 year old will love it to death pretty quickly. I'd recommend the Little Mommy Sweet as Me dolls for ones that are just as lovely but much, much more durable. (They've lived through nearly 3 years of toddler love and abuse with much less damage.)
