(More customer reviews)I bought this doll at target about 8 months ago. She is 3 1/2, but it is appropriate for any child over 6 months old. Ditch the crown cause it falls off almost immediately. My daughter loves this doll. She won't go to sleep without it at night. Unlike most of the disney dolls, this doll has a soft body, so she cuddles with it to sleep. If you are looking for a doll that will sit up though to play "tea" with your child, this is not the right doll. However, she is perfect for pretend feeding in your child's arms. My daughter has thrown this doll everywhere, gotten it wet, you name it. Aside from the fabric near the next starting the fray, it is in pretty good condition. They are actually discontinuing this model and it is almost impossible to find it in the sleeping beauty version anywhere but online. They are now making it with a hard body and with giggles (very annoying and not very cuddly). I would recommend buying two of the same version, hiding one in a closet so that if your child gets attached, you have a back up one. They are selling other versions (lots of Tiana, Ariel, Belle) at Walmart for under 10 dollars on clearance, but my daughter loves the Sleeping Beauty best.
