The highlighter works great - but it will go fast and Mattel doesn't make a replacement/refill for it.
The doll itself is rather generic but really all you need is her hair. Great toy for budding stylists or girls who want to pretend play with their Barbies. Just use it in a place where you don't mind water everywhere (the clothing on the doll is nicely waterproofed).
