(More customer reviews)Celebration Barbie is the 5th collectible African-American Barbie I've purchased for my 1 year old daughter, Genesis. I started an African-American doll collection several before my daughter was born which includes porcelain, cloth and vinyl dolls. I'd hoped to have a daughter to share this collection with and who would have a love of dolls as I do. So far Genesis loves looking (not touching) all her dolls. (I do have inexpensive dolls she may play with.) I believe these dolls will help her to see the beauty of herself so that she will be a positive and confident woman later in life. I really appreciate the fact that the Barbie dolls have African-American features, as opposed to just "painting" the doll brown. I plan on purchasing many more Barbies and would highly recommend them to others.
