(More customer reviews)I bought this for myself along with the 6" Kit mini doll, as a collection...beautiful story line of Kit and her family regarding the hardships of the American people during The Depression of the 20's and 30's and how they endured through those lean years. Cute dog...you don't often see a Bassett Hound as a pet for a child, and his story of how he is adopted by Kit and her parents because his previous owners where no longer able to feed him is a lovely in-story as well. The story of Grace takes place in the book, "Kit's Birthday Surprise", not in the first book about Kit and her family. Love the little dog!
