(More customer reviews)These dolls are beyond beautiful. Arabian Nights Ken is the most handsome Ken yet. The costumes are rich and vibrant. The real beauty of these dolls, however, is the features. In my opinion, Mattel should keep the head molds of these two dolls and make either more versions of them as Ken and Barbie or make them 'friends of Barbie'. Iman and Omar? The only think that I dislike about the dolls is that Ken looks a bit angry. I do find that I like him angry better than the plastered smile he seems to have on other molds. I would like to have two sets. One to keep as 'Arabian Nights' and another to dress in modern clothes.

Barbie and Ken re-create the legend of how Scheherazade saved her ownlife by captivating the sultan with a story for 1,001 successive nights. Barbie,as Scheherazade, is absolutely ravishing in a spectacularly patterned skirt, witha matching top embellished with golden highlights. She wears pink and blue veilsin her hair that spiral gracefully around her, adding an air of mystery. Ken, asthe sultan, is Barbie's dashing companion. He wears a pink tunic with goldentrim over billowy golden pants. A blue-and-purple sash ties at his waist andserves as a place to rest his trusty sword. His colorful turban shines with afaux ruby and is topped with a golden plume.
