(More customer reviews)I purchased this doll, Trichelle, from my local Toys R Us, for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. It wasn't on her list, but she likes playing with her Bratz Sasha Styling Head, so I thought she would enjoy this. There was a barbie I used to have in the 80's that had gold wire strands throughout the hair so you could curl it.(I think it was called Golden Dream Barbie or something like that). So I was excited when I discovered this one. All the dolls in the So In Style line are beautiful. The hair is soft & the outfits are really cute. I chose Tricelle because she reminded me of my daughter & I liked her outfit the most. You are suppose to spray the hair with water with the little spray bottle that is provided. Then you use the plastic curling iron to curl the hair. It does curl, but the curls only last about 5 seconds. By the time you get to your second or third curl, the first has fallen. My daughter gets a little fustrated with it, because she wants to curl all the hair. If the curls lasted longer, she would play with it more. The chair is a little flimsy, and her necklace broke on day 5, but the extensions and hair accesories are cute. Overall, the doll itself is very nice. We just wish the curls lasted longer.
