(More customer reviews)I bought this Tinkerbell doll for my daughter for her fourth birthday. The doll is adorable and her colorful dress and wings are super cute. There are several problems with this toy. First is that for a young child, the button you press to flutter Tink's wings is very awkward. My daughter's hands are tiny like four year olds are, and are not strong enough to just use a thumb or a finger to press the button, so when she tries to flutter the wings, her own hands get in the way. So the design isn't that great for little children. Secondly, the doll's legs cannot bend at the knee, and her arms are in that sort of bent position all the time, so that if you try to make her look like she is daintily flying, she looks sort of silly. My daughter didn't like that at all. Third, my daughter had this toy for about a week, and then one of the legs popped off. She dropped the doll one time on the kitchen floor and one of the wings broke right off. It was very brittle and it wasn't a long drop, just a little drop out of her hands. My daughter was never rough with the toy, she just played with it as expected. We have reattached the leg several times now but the wing cannot be repaired. While I found this toy to be super cute and very sweet, I cannot recommend it because it just doesn't hold up to a young child's normal play and use.
