It's clear a lot of the production money must have been spent on having the longer grow hair than on the dress or accessories. The dress itself is the very plain cheap satin with very little in the way of interest in it. But the doll serves the purpose of looking like the movie character (though missing the charm and personality). I like that you can store the accessories in the brush so they won't get lost as easily.
This version is FAR superior to the Rapunzel doll that comes with extra hair on a clip - that one feels really cheap. I'd highly recommend this one.
If you want to get a really nice one, there is a 12" (same size) Disney version that looks much closer to the movie character and has more interesting hair (more like the curly mess of the movie character).
