(More customer reviews)I bought the Noelle doll for my daughter's 6th birthday. She was so happy when she ripped off the gift paper to see this large cute doll ready and waiting receive it. She loves the way how the joints move and how poseable she is. I as re mother like the fact that the doll can stand on her own. This is what is so unique about the doll. HOWEVER, I cannot believe that MGA would create a doll, whose hair is so bad. Within minutes of brushing the hair, it became tangled and fizzy. You know, the way doll hair becomes after years of combing? well this dolls hair became un-combeable. I looked at my husband in disbelief as my daughter complained that she had trouble brushing the hair. Honestly, I had read two reviews that said that the hair was bad but I took it with a grain of salt.Now I know for a fact that what people were saying about the hair is true. The doll looked so cute and coupled with the fact that MGA was maker, I assumed that the hair wouldn't be as bad as other reviewers reported. The thing is tangled beyond belief!!! I believe that the hair is a really important aspect of the doll. Most little girls would what to comb the long flowing hair so how could MGA do such a hatchet job ???
THE BOTTOM LINE: If you know your daughter would want to comb the hair, this doll is not one to purchase. Noelle looks really cute but the hair is AWFUL.
