It is very durable once together; it does not fall apart like some of the other doll swings do. The swing swings by itself when turned on. This was purchased for use with the Bratz Babyz. These dolls are heavy dolls and the swing swings them perfectly. It also features 4 colored lights that blinks with the tune of a cute song and sounds of fish swimming, just like the real baby ocean wonders swing. This design is perfect for my 8 year old (who does not like anything too babyish) to use with her Bratz Babyz. I highly recommend this swing along with the rest of the ocean wonders doll collection (except for the doll carrier) for children of all ages. Even my 2 year old son can not play with it enough.
