(More customer reviews)The Tonner Lord of the Rings dolls are about as good as it gets for a LOTR collector. The Tonner designers pay great attention to detail - down to the length of the hair, jewelry, even the costumes themselves. And this doll is no exception.
Arwen comes with fabric shoes and her dress is high quality materials. A thickIn crepe with embroidery for the sleeves and then a crushed velvet dress with correct hem width and proportions. The sculpt does justice to Liv Tyler.
The LOTR are all fully articulated - you can pose them in any number of positions: recreating scenes from the movie or simply creating an interesting display.
In an age of poor value and quality, these dolls are clearly worth every penny. You are paying for quality craftsmanship and materials, not just a licensing fee of a cheap knockoff. I highly recommend all of the LOTR dolls from Tonner for this reason (the Legolas and Galadriel are especially stunning).
