(More customer reviews)For the last 17 years of my daughter's life I have given her a Barbie every year on Valentine's day. This being her 18th and last year I was to do this was no different.
Valentine's Day Barbies used to be between 5 and 10 dollars.
This year its list price from Mattel I believe was only $11.99, however all the stores must have caught on that this was a hit and sold it far above manufacturer's retail price - I think I paid somewhere around $30 bucks for this thing.
I sure am glad that this was the last year for this. Retail stores suck and the store that I purchased this through via Amazon was not much better.
This doll will probably stay in the box forever - like the others - so rating the dolls quality for fun, durability, and educational value does not make sense.
I would like to rate the store...but that option isn't given. They don't even remind me which one of their affiliates sold it to me so that I can list them in the tags.
