(More customer reviews)I looked a long time to find a basic baby doll that my daughters could play with - one that was cute, didn't pee on the potty, talk back, giggle, cry, require batteries, etc. This is harder than it sounds in this day and age. We wanted a doll that would allow the girls to use their own imagination - instead of being fed an automated voice. This particular Little Mommy doll is the best one I found (there are MANY variations). I got one for my toddler for the holidays, and my preschooler plays with it so much, I bought one for her too. They are not into princesses (my preschooler is mostly into dinosaurs), so I made them some new attire, but they are wonderful. It's impossible to see this online, but the body is soft (easier for toddlers to carry around and huggable) and flexible and the head, arms and legs are hard plastic. The girls love them. My only complaint would be the scent the baby doll has - when first opened you definitely smell the plastic, but there is an overriding scent of baby powder that has lingered over the months we've had it. I could do without the scent, but the girls don't seem to mind.
