(More customer reviews)It was a long trip for us, at first I thought that if I wait longer it will go on sale and I will get it for less.. so we waited... and kersploooooosh.. it went of the market right around the Christmas in front of my eyes and I was left in disbelief. I called Disney promptly only to find out that this ite is "seasonal" and only released on the account of the movie in limted number and once sold out sold out and it is not going to be offered anymore :((((
Okay then.. I searched around and prices are what they are, not really friendly.. so I settled for the other toddler doll, the one with the tiara and the one that loks like little adult princess rather then having this innocent look of this one.. nothing even close.. but i thought my girl will be happy with the other one. well .. did not work. she was truly dissapointed and
so were we. This doll is just .. a C class :) comparing to the other.
The other doll that her cousin had simply is a kid mangnet It as celar to me that the doll we got is not going to be lasting substitute for the other one, this one that is sold here.
It is amazing how quickly it became nubmer one seller world-wide because it just simply has this pure innocent look and so much character that simply corresponds with feelings and esthetics with modern parents and chilren alike and it is just so cute... in it's pure and simple night gown instad of fancy pricnesish dress.. it is just child like toy.
We finally got it and at the time we decided to go for it we had to pay good four times what we would pay should we get it when we could :( but then again.. seeing prices going only up and seeing the dolls dissapearing this seemed like now or never.
The weirdest thing is that once I got it and saw how much up this doll went I get this happy feeling of good decission becuase now I simply would not buy it at this price as I could not afford it.
* it is a beautiful doll
* it is super sturdy and strong
* hair is absolutely gorgeous
* dress is simple yet sophisticated and graceful
* face is full of innocence and the designer captured amazing character and beauty of the Rapunzel from the movie at imaginary toddler stage
* It does not came with tiara - a big plus since it is a toddler doll does not give a child the imposed royal feel of a little child right to be a child and according to the story.. Rapunzel was not aware of being princess at this age anyway so there is some actual true-to story element
* It comes in beautiful beautiful see-through box that makes beautiful presentation.
Once a child takes the paper out and sees the doll.. the look on the face of the little one is priceless.
* Could not be hapier with it.
* Love it. Love it. Love it.
* Our child's favorite sleeping and take along doll from day one. I wish I could afford another one as a back up.. as it is good to have one
Definitely recommend this doll. If you can find it cheaper elswhere then by all means try however I did and it is hard but worth to shop around.
