(More customer reviews)Compared this pet set to both Plan Toys and Ryan's Room, and Educo won best choice for price, overall design, and content of set. I liked that there was more than just a dog house (versus Plan Toys) and I preferred the simple cohesive design of Educo's dog house and rabbit hutch (versus Ryan's Room).
Please note: actual colors are not neon, as they appear in the photo, but a very bright warm yellow.
Also note: there is a series of letters and numbers stamped on the side of the doghouse. It looks like something that belongs on the outside of the packaging box. It makes no sense why they put it there. At the very least it could have been put inside.
Parents be forewarned: items are very small and could pose a choking hazard, especially the pet food and dishes.
Not impressed with the dog as the feet have round balls at the bottom to help it stand. Very awkward design that just does not look realistic.
Dog house is a good size and all the animals can fit inside. However, door is not high enough for the dog. There is also a window on the back of the house.
This set is compatible with a larger scale doll house, however my kids use this set with the Plan Toys City Eco Home. The scale is off but it fits in great just the same.
Great set that is well made and has really taken a beating. All in all, very pleased with this purchase and recommend it.

It is a pet set for the Basic Dollhouse. Kids could put them in the dollhouse in the way they like, which gives them the idea of how to keep pets, caring about little animals and improves their ability of space-thinking.
