(More customer reviews)I was lucky to find this castle on sale for 29.99. I don't think that I would have paid 79.99. However, the look on my daughter's face when she opened it was priceless. The assembly is not hard, but not much fun. I would recommend putting it together before Christmas and putting a bow on it, so your little princess can play right away.
My daughter's favorite part is the music and turning dance circle.Even though the castle is two-sided the only part in the castle that my daughter has played with is the dance circle. My daughter has played with the expandable bed more than anything. If the castle didn't play music I don't think my daughter would even play with it. I am glad I got this, but it really is not that well made.

In the DVD release, Barbie in The Twelve Dancing Princesses, the castle is the setting for the adaptation of Grimm's fairytale. This enchanted castle offers full, 360-degree play, and captures the fun of playing out the story where the 12 Princesses live in a "real" world as well as a "magical" world. On one side, there is a traditional castle environment, complete with a bedroom and a dining area. On the other side, it's a place where three Princesses can dance to music like they do in the story. The bed in the bedroom expands to sleep nine dolls, and a table converts into a bed for the triplets, too! Barbie dolls sold separately.

Fisher-Price Dora the Explorer Sleepy Dreams Dora Review

(More customer reviews)I knew there was going to be some sort of battery in it, as Dora talks. I love the song she sings, and it sounds a lot like her. The doll is adorable in itself...however, my problem with this doll lies in the weight, hardness of her head, and her hair.
The hair becomes a tangled mess and I have to yank on it to get her hair straight- she loses hair because of it... the head is heavy and hard, so not comfortable to sleep with, and the doll itself is pretty heavy. When the back is opened it revealed a HUGE battery/voice box. I wish it could have come with a smaller box or the doll itself could have been lighter, and that the head was softer.
All in all it's cute and fun and a great toy. Just not ideal for sleeping, which was what I bought it hoping for (it is sleepy dreams Dora, so I thought it'd be a good motivational sleeping buddy)

My First Dollhouse - African American Review

(More customer reviews)I just bought this doll house for my two year old daughter and she loves it. She has not stopped playing with it since she got it.Her four year old brother loves it too. It is very sturdy thus far and very easy to put together. I like the fact that it only makes two sounds (doorbell and phone), which lets the children use their imagination. The only thing I wish is that the kitchen area stayed put when the kids open the fridge and oven, but a piece of double sided-tape might fix that. Overall, a great dollhouse to keep a heavy-handed toddler busy.
