She recently began walking and the doll is light enough that she carries it everywhere. This doll is also nice and soft and cuddly. The perfect doll for a one to two-year old.

However, it is listed as an 8 piece set, and that is the 2 shoes, 2 gloves, dress (and undies), the bow in her hair, the book and the doll. Wish I would have realized that before. Would have also ordered different clothes. Don't get me wrong. I love it and my daughter LOVES it, but I expected a little more for my large sum of money!

For the price that I paid for it ($20 at Toys 'R Us), I do not have to cringe (like an AG doll), when I see the doll on her floor. The only qualm I have about it, is the doll's hair. It's rooted in some areas and sparse in others, making it nearly impossible to style the way you want. Also, the particular doll she has, has hair that is crimped, causing it to look a little "fried" if she goes on without brushing it. Overall though, it's a nice doll, and my 5-year old doesn't care about the $140 difference between her and the AG dolls.

(More customer reviews)This Angelina Ballerina doll is beautifully made and a nice, large size for little girls to bring around. It is of nice quality and even washes well, as we found out after my daughter spilled juice all over her. The only thing I don't like as much are the positioning of the feet. I'm sure they're meant to be in a ballet position, but her left foot actually points too far backwards and looks twisted. This doesn't bother my daughter at all, though.
The outfit is not removable, nor are the shoes or bow. This helps greatly in not losing outfits anywhere around the house, but also limits what a girl can do with her doll. We found that Angelina fits into American Girl doll clothing (not the shoes), but you have to tuck her tutu underneath it. Still, it's another option.
The doll doesn't do anything or say anything, which we're quite happy about. We've had enough of noisy, active toys around here. It's nice to see my daughter using her imagination and talking to Angelina, then making her answer back. Therefore, as far as imaginative play, I'll give it three stars, but this is the type of toy that is meant to be enjoyed, not to be used as a learning tool necessarily.

(More customer reviews)The Doll came in very good condition w Wilbur the pig. However, there was misadvertising, as the picture shows it also comes w Gussy Goose and it does not. Green Dolls told me this was something Amazon did, not them, as an advertisement for the item. If you use the picture then at least state somewhere that this does not include the Gussy Goose. It caused a lot of confusion and made me less at ease to buy from either site again.
