Barbie Heidi Klum BLONDE AMBITION Barbie Doll Pink Label Collection 50th Anniversary Edition Review

You really have to see this doll in person to appreciate how nicely done the sequins on the dress are. Instead of regular sequins like they've used in the past, Mattel has used smaller, flat sequins that add glitter and shine without making the doll look bulky or tacky. They're still not to scale, but they're a vast improvement over Barbies with sequins in the past. I bought this doll with the intent of deboxing her and redressing her, but her outfit is so nice in person that I think I am going to get another one to play with and leave one as-is. The jewelry is plastic, but forgivable and looks good on the doll overall. Even if you're not into Project Runway or if you're not a big Heidi Klum fan, as a collector I think you'll appreciate the great job they did on the dress. The doll itself is a good likeness of Heidi even though they did not do a custom face mold for the doll, and her hair and rooted eyelashes are well-done. If you're on the fence about this doll, or just want one for customizing, I would say go ahead and get it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised; I certainly was!

600+ Pieces Project Runway Ultimate Design Challenge Utimate Kit Review

I read the other review and agree with the packaging complaint, however my daughter has found this to be an extremely fun project. She loves to design all things fashion and the packs of paper with outlines of bodies, feet, and purses, is just enough to start the creative juices. We did not pay full price and I don't know that I would have paid $79 for it, but I am glad I picked it up. My daughter is making projects she is proud of and expanding her skills.

My Scene - Barbie - Project Runway Doll Review

My Scene - Barbie - Project Runway Doll

If you love Barbie and Project Runway this doll is for you. On the show Project Runway in season 2 the designers were asked to make a My scene Barbie for their models and make the same for a doll. Winning designer of the challenge Nick Verreos designed the Copacabana look. This doll is great for kids and adults alike. The box can open without tearing anything and you can take the doll out and put it back in very easily without hurting the box and Barbie. Makes a great gift for anytime of the year. If you like collecting Barbies this could be worth some money in the future. But no matter what, it's an enjoyment for anyone.
