(More customer reviews)I bought this barbie today at Target - I'm an adult collector and I didn't even know this series was out! She is absolutely gorgeous. A real winner for an adult collector. I think I will need to get the Gustav Klimt inspired doll as well. I've been so pleased with the interesting array of dolls offered by Mattel for adult collectors lately. This one is a real winner.

(More customer reviews)First of all she arrived and my daughter loves her! The outfit is cute and springy and of course well made! My only complaint is her hair! It looks beautiful in the picture..... but it is all frayed on the tips and looks less expensive in my opinion.... not to mention compared to her other madame alexander doll the hair roots are farther apart showing some plastic head in areas which we stopped by putting her hair half up! I did end up cutting off all the tips of this dolls hair, it looks better but not great! All in all my daughter loves her and that is what counts! This doll sleeps with my daughter as well as her American Girl doll and her other Madame Alexander

But the outfit and hair are beautifully done and she definitely has a Sanrio Japanese feel to the outfit. She's a great choice for girls who read a lot of manga or have a like of Japanese anime or manga.

Top Model Summer Doll Review

(More customer reviews)This doll is just beautiful. I didn't like the Model Muse body style when it first came out, but since that seems to be the only body style Mattel is using for it's non-play line dolls, I've gotten used to it.
This doll has the traditional Steffie face (with the modern Barbie eye style) and gorgeous bright copper red hair. The clothing she comes with is not the greatest (I do prefer the clothing of the blond Model in this series, but I bought this one for the hair & face style). The boots are cool looking, though. :3
The packaging is great. I have decided to leave this doll in her clear box because it's like having her in a little glass (plastic) case. No fuss; no muss. ^_^
If you are a Barbie collector, I definitely suggest this for you.
If you are a parent looking to buy a Barbie for your child, I would suggest that you skip this one. The Model Muse body style is odd without clothing on, and could be a challenge for little ones to change the clothing. Also, once that hair is brushed, the style is gone forever. I do not see this as a "play" doll at all.
