(More customer reviews)My 2 year old loves this dollhouse. We bought all of the accessory kits and she will play with the whole set for hours on end. We like the plainness of the toys as it seems to encourage her imagination. We figure when she gets older she can decorate with wallpaper and carpet scraps if she chooses to do so. She doesn't even seem to notice the plainness or lack of color. The only downside is a lack of wall space to put the furniture against. While the openness allows a lot of access, it also allows furniture to be pushed out of rooms. We are buying her the HOME AGAIN, HOME AGAIN house from the same company, but it has more wall space and add-on floors for growth.

My daughter uses the toy box as a mail box(the lid opens) (mentioned this is review of the nursery set, didn't realize the toy box was in this set as I purchased mine in a lot used from ebay) and she also uses the pillows as floor cushion for the dolls. Everything is high quality and I'm saving this for when I'm a grandma....would even stand up to school or daycare use for many many years!

Ryan's Room Family Affair III Asian-American Review

(More customer reviews)I acquired 12 Ryan's Room folks, including these six. My toddlers play with them but I like to use them myself more than they probably enjoy them. They're mostly into lego, block and vehicle play at the moment but I like to mix it up a little with other ideas. I like that these guys have real clothes unlike lego people and most action figures. They're also more posable than lego and duplo people and obviously a little bigger. They fit great on Ertl, and large Tonka toys and they fit well into worlds constructed from unit blocks provided sufficient blocks to bring the scale up. I've been able to construct vehicles for them from Duplo blocks as well though the typical scale of Duplo items is smaller. I also like that these people are not specific merchandise from a movie, tv show or brand like most action figures (gi joe, marvel, star wars etc.)

Ryan's Room Night, Night Sleep Tight Nursery Review

(More customer reviews)The toy is cute and durable, no doubt. But the little baby doll hardly fits in the crib and in the feeding chair - you have to really put an effort to make it happen. As I am capable of doing it, my two and a half year old is easily frustrated by this. The little stroller is great and well sized. I wish they made the rest of the room furniture just a tad bit bigger too - it would have been truly a perfect toy then! My daughter loves it, therefore it gets 4 stars anyway!

(More customer reviews)I was surprised by the poor review above--til I realized it was a young person looking at the dolls on line and not liking how plain they are. My friend has the Ryan's room dolls and we both like the simplicity--they are well made and sort of featureless--but that is good for freeplay--they are not supposed to look like anyone in particular. Our daughters are 3 and 4. THey are sturdy and simple, not fancy, and might take a little getting used to if kids are used to Barbie and Bratz, but these are really preferable.
