But, unlike the original doll, this repro isn't capable of the colour change function (mainly because the original dolls were notorious for oxidizing over the years, causing their hair to become brittle and fall out).
Dressed in her trademark multi-coloured, diamond print bathing suit, the brunette Barbie comes with a bonus recreation of the 1967 shantung silk "Bloom Bursts" dress and hair-bonnet. Presented in a full-length acetate box with reproductions of the original color change tools and instruction booklet (plus dollstand and COA), this doll will add a nostalgic touch to your Barbie collection!
