(More customer reviews)Being a child of the 70s/80s, I grew up with Strawberry Shortcake and have ALWAYS been a fan of her toys and movies. I have 2 daughters and have passed on my collection to them. They have changed miss shortcake over the years quite a bit. My oldest daughter (5 1/2) has the itty bitty ones they just came out with, I'm not so much a fan of that size, but my youngest (2 1/2) has a few this size and I love them! They remind us so much of the older dolls, they smell fantastic, they are cute, their hair is not too long to where it is in a constant state of tangles, her little accessories are cute too. They pretty much kept this version of the doll very true to her 70s roots just spruced her up a bit and I think it worked. My only complaint is, with the old dolls I used to play with, all the dolls looked a bit different but had similiar features....with the new dolls they are all exactly the same doll with just different hair color and eye color, don't really understand that but oh well.
I would highly advise to shop around for this toy, I think I found it under ten dollars in stores. I hope they continue on with this doll and don't revise her again like they have 3 other times over the past 10 years...you got it right this time, leave her alone ;)
