(More customer reviews)Our older girls all have AG dolls. This was the first Gotz doll we purchased for our youngest in an attemp to save some money. I am amazed at the quality of this doll! It's hair is actually plugged into the dolls head, unlike AG dolls which just has a hair piece glued to the head. The Gotz doll can even go in the washing machine!! We all think that "Elizabeth's" face is much cuter than AG too. I sure wish I had looked into this doll company years ago!

(More customer reviews)Both of my daughters received a Maxy Muffin for their birthdays. My three-year-old picked the brunette baby and my five-year-old picked the blonde one. They love them, and those dolls endure quite a bit. They play with them every day.
Beautiful baby dolls. The only negative I have is the doll clothes! It is hard to find doll clothes for these dolls! And what is offered is usually quite expensive.

Corolle Classic Baby Doll Bebe Do - 14" Doll Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased both the Bebe Do and Bebe Charmeur for my twin girls for Christmas. I was expecting them to be similar in that they are both from Corolle and are 14" dolls. They are very different. Bebe Do is very petite. Her body is very light weight and feels small (especially compared to the Bebe Charmeur). Her hand and feet and limbs are about 1/3 size smaller than the bebe charmeur. Her skin color is very pale without the luminescent quality that other Corolle dolls have. We have the Chou twins too who have a similar skin to Charmeur (pink, luminescent look). She is very life-like and detailed in her features though. Amazing detail actually. I am not a fan of life-like dolls as I find the somewhat creepy. Bebe Do doesn't fall into that category for me but any more realistic looking and I don't think I would like her. Her head also can turn around completely which I don't like. All that being said, she is still a beautiful doll. My girls are 4 and I think she is somewhat small and light weight for them where as the Bebe Charmeur has a better weight and feel for their age. By the way, I measured the two and Bebe Do is about 1" smaller than Charmeur. She is a beautiful, petite doll and is well worth the money.

Gotz Baby Doll "Sophia" 23" Brunette Soft Silicone Lifelike Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this doll and was not sure what I would be getting as it was my first Gotz doll. My expectations were exceeded and she is now one of my favourites. Her silicone skin is very soft and lifelike to the touch, it is a good colour and looks lifelike too, she is weighted nicely and feels like a baby in your arms, her eyelashes and wig (hair not rooted) are good quality and her lips well painted, all in all I think she is a high quality doll with a lovely face. She sits by herself, her head tilts and she is easy to pose in a lifelike way, she fits into most 0-3month baby clothes and is a joy to add to my collection.

It is a delight to design and make clothes, especially when the doll has a personality like Jule does. I have not outgrown the need to play, to be creative, and use my imagination. Thank you Hilegard Gunzel for the way you have captured childlike innocence in Jule's expression. She looks like baby pictures of myself except that I didn't have long hair.

(More customer reviews)We gave this doll to my daughter for her 4th birthday last year. While it is a lovely doll and she plays with it often, calling it a "bath doll" is something of a joke. If you want a doll your child can take in the bath, then dry off and play with, this is not the doll! It takes lots and lots of prolonged squeezing and drip-drying before she can come out of the tub and be played with (otherwise water keeps dripping out of her joints -- legs, arms, neck, eyes) It is usually several days before ours can be played with dry, and that is only after an adult has vigorously squeezed and shaken the doll several times to get all the water out of her head, arms, legs etc. I thought a bath doll would be solid or sealed plastic, so the water couldn't get in. If I were buying a bath doll again, I would not buy this product.
