(More customer reviews)We have purchased all 6 of these dolls over the past year or so, my 5 1/2 year old just loves them, their dresses are removable, and unfortunatly have all been "misplaced" somewhere in the house. But they are not naked underneath, they have painted on clothes. I'm not a fan of this doll size, I prefer the ones slightly larger that they are selling right now, more like the origial SS cake dolls, but that is just my opinion, prob b/c its what I grew up with and enjoyed playing with. The fact that these dolls have real hair is kind of a pain, it is impossible to comb thru and looks good for about 5 min out of the plastic, then you are pretty much just left with a tanlged mess. Also, all the dolls are basically the same, just different hair and eye color, there is no variation to any of them, with the exception of the black skin on Orange Blossom, would have been nice to see each girl with a bit more of her own personality.
Shop around before you buy these! I have no idea why the price is so ridiculous, are they discontinuing them or something, bc we paid around five a piece and I thought that seemed very reasonable, i just saw them yesterday at kohls and walmart.
