If you turn it upside down, the baby "spits up". It is really great. Why does he only say MAMA though? (More customer reviews)This doll is almost perfect for my almost four-year old grandson. He loves the sword and plays with it in the doll's hand as well as in his own. He loves the cape and is able to take it on and off. However, he had wanted a doll for which he could change all of its clothes and Keanan's outfit is difficult for him to get off and on without adult help. I am also unable to find additional separate clothes and clothes patterns for Keanan (I am trying to create them on my own). Finally, I don't think the clothes will last long because my grandson wants to keep changing them.
I got the Groovy Girls dragon so that the knight Keanan could have it as a pet and could fly around on it. My grandson is able to put the knight on and off the dragon's seatbelt but needs a little help with the hand holds.
If you are looking for a boy doll that has a lot of sweet appeal, this is a good one. His expression is really cute.

(More customer reviews)We bought this baby for our 12 month old son for Christmas because it was one of the only babies we could find that was 100% cloth and soft. It is perfect! It is so soft and cute, he likes the little tuft of hair and the diaper, and he is always hugging it. We started keeping it in his crib at about 15 months, and it quickly became his first "lovey" and now he wants to sleep with it at all naps and bedtimes. It has held up very well over this first year, although I have not tried to wash it yet. I highly recommend it.

We received "Rosy Cheeks Blonde Boy" today and my son really liked him from the first moment and is now cuddled up with him in bed for the night. (More customer reviews)Got Suce Pounce blue and Bebe Charmeur last Christmas for my two little girls. One daughter specifically requested this one because of it being a "boy" doll. The pajamas he comes in are very soft and cute, and he/she has lovely soft brown eyes. Smells wonderful still. I rate him slightly lower than Bebe Charmeur though, as her body feels more real and she can sit up on her own. Otherwise they look very similar. My daughter was completely happy with him/her (put it in a dress, looks like a girl baby). But as a mother, I compare the two dolls, and I personally prefer Bebe Charmeur's feel.

(More customer reviews)We have had this doll for a year. And the first thing my toddler did was take all of it's clothes off. If possible do not remove the stitch that attaches the hat. You will never get it to stay on once you do, so ours is lost. Very very soft material and great for hugging. Good size for doll strollers and the diaper and shirt has velcro fasteners so it's easy for a small child to dress. This would be a great doll for a child who has a new brother or sister. Then they can have a new baby too :) Especially with the id bracelet it's very special.

I love that he comes with overalls and a shirt (100% cotton) that he can learn to take on and off. Jake's expensive, and I tried to find a sale but Camden Rose products never go on sale...but this was the best deal I was able to find on a Waldorf doll, which I really wanted. I feel really good about supporting Camden Rose and the cooperative of Peruvian women who made this doll, and I feel great about giving my son a gorgeous doll made of totally natural, non-toxic materials. I can't wait for him to find it under the Christmas tree. He'll be 16 months when he gets this doll.

Well you don't get any more "real" then a little boy doll that pees! She calls him "My baby Cade" and our real baby is "Mommy's baby Cade". It's adorable!
The doll is small, perfect for a toddler. I was afraid it would be big and heavy. It comes with a few diapers, bottle, rattle etc.
Its very simple to operate and it works well.
I looked for MONTHS for a "boy" baby that I thought she would like. I am so glad I went with this one! Some of the other ones have lots more "bells and whistles", but sometimes I think basic is better. It laughs, coos, cries, wiggles and pees. She's two - she's thrilled with those features!
Do yourself a favor ~ if you're like me and you are reading every online review trying to find the BEST one; save yourself a lot of time and money. Get this one. Its affordable and fun.

Corolle Les Classiques Classic 14" Baby Doll (Suce Pouce Blue) Review

(More customer reviews)I just received this doll for my child, and I am very pleased with my purchase. When I ordered the doll, I was not sure that it would be a big enough doll for my three-year-old to hold and cuddle, but it turns out that this is the perfect size doll. I can't imagine how unwieldy a bigger doll would be for a three-year-old.
The doll has a soft body and its head, arms, and legs are molded plastic. It's very huggable and durable at the same time. The eyes open and close, which my child finds to be very entertaining, and you can make the doll suck its thumb, a bottle (not included), or a pacifier (included). It can also be placed in a seated position and is scented. I am told that it is a vanilla scent, but there is an underlying spice to it that I can't identify. However, it's not an overwhelming or offensive smell and won't overtake your house.
The only issue I find with the doll is the small doll-sized pacifier included in the box. The Corolle website says that the doll is intended for children two years and up. The pacifier is small enough that it could be considered a choking hazard for a two-year-old child. That being said, the pacifier (on a ribbon) is not attached to the doll, so you could remove it from the box and hold it until your child is old enough.
When all is said and done, I think this is a great doll and well worth the purchase price. I love finding good toys that don't make noise or light up, because I think it helps my child develop an imagination. And there's nothing more classic than a really good baby doll.

(More customer reviews)I was disappointed with this toy. There were a lot of velcro items, which are pretty common and already easy for toddlers to learn. I was disappointed that the Tie shoe did not untie all the way - it is sewn already crossed, so teaching a child to tie the shoe is not realistic. Also, there is no buckle. The watch is velcro. On the plus - the zipper and the button are nice to have. My daughter hasn't shown much interest in this toy.

Corolle Tidoo Poppy, Baby Doll Review

(More customer reviews)We love Corolle dolls and with three little ones corolle dollies abound in our house. However, I would have to say the little boy Tidoo doll (different colored outfit from this one) I bought for my son last Christmas is the least favorite. My son likes him just fine. I am disappointed though. The body is way under stuffed. Maybe they make him that way so he will dry faster. But what ends up happening is that he doesn't fit clothes well. The jeans and sweater set from Corolle we purchased slips off from around the waist because there isn't hardly anything there. In addition to the fact that he can't sit at all. He just slumps over. And he hardly weighs anything. I bought one of the regular 12" Corolle dolls for my neice and couldn't believe the difference in feel of her and how well the clothes fit and how she sat up. I wish I had gotten my son a different Corolle doll. The others have all be absolutely beautiful in every way (we have Bebe Do, Charmeur, Chou twins, and two Les Cheries).

Just as other reviews have said when you give the bottle to this doll the water literally goes straight through. My son learned immediately that the baby couldn't go potty with out the bottle. there is no squeezing the tummy. You best have him over the potty when you feed him.
May work for our purposes, but it isn't what we thought we were buying.
