(More customer reviews)As the mother of a little girl I have alot of experience when it comes to plastic playsets, sadly most of them have little attention to detail and are poorly made, my daugther started eyeing this when it first came out in the stores and asking for it. She just received it for her birthday and I think I was almost as impressed with it as she is in love with it.
The attention to detail is amazing on a $20 plastic toy, working lights (batteries included!), mail box that opens (and is full of letters actually addressed to different ponies), working drawer w/ bottles inside that snap onto the top, little shower brush, etc.
She's been playing with it and the smaller ponyville sets I got her nonstop for days, excellent value!

(More customer reviews)This is an all time favourite doll of mine and I am so glad that they are still in production. This is a doll that defines your childhood and though I was older than most children when I was given one of these dolls by an American friend of the family I cherish the memory even now and I would recommend any moms and dads out there to get their little girl one of these dolls, be she three or ten years old.
Raggedy Anne is for any child of any race, creed or religion, she is so loveable, no plastic about her, she is cloth and stuffing through and through and her woollen red hair is a delight to behold as are her shabby-chic clothes and a moon round face that is go ugly it is beautiful along with those red striped legs, don't they just make you cry with laughter when you look at them?
Childhood is about innocence and this doll is innocence personified, and she is as cuddly as she looks, I just wish someone would buy me another one because even after all these years I miss my Raggedy Anne doll.

Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses - Princess Genevieve, African American Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my girls at the 64% off price, and was pleased with the purchase. She takes 2 AAA batteries, which were not included. The batteries go into each of her thighs. We've had her for 2 weeks, and she's still spinning and lighting up, and gets played with regularly. One thing to note is that if her arms are down, touching the dress at all, the dress will not spin. Her shoes do come off, but my daughters havn't figured that out yet, since they fit so well. She cannot be undressed like other barbies, but she's in a gorgeous princess dress, so my girls don't care in the slightest. When my daughter saw her, she was so very excited to have Genevieve ... until she watched the movie with the barbie. It was at that point that she realised that the movie Genevieve is blonde. The doll is still cool (she does have a medium brown color of hair like my girls), and a lot of fun, but just not quite like the movie. I wish the movies would have more diversity. All in all, for the sale price, I'd highly reccomend it to any 12 Dancing Princesses fans, but I wouldn't have paid full price for any of the 12 dancing princesses dolls. They are fun for the price, but I don't expect the quality to last very long.

I think this doll is very preaty and I love her outfit and blue hair. The one thing I whould change is her legs, I don't like how the design is painted on,if it was tights I whould not mind. I whould like to add that I am 12 years old and I still love my barbies and I think this doll would make a fine addition to any collection.

Enchanted Evening Barbie Review

(More customer reviews)This is a stunning reproduction of "Enchanted Evening" (cat. #983), Barbie's most romantic, delicate ballgown from her early years. It's presented on a repro of the 1960 'Ponytail' Barbie doll (aka Barbie #3); and was released in dual editions of blonde and brunette--I own the blonde version, which I think sets off the colour of the gown more effectively.
"Enchanted Evening" is a strapless gown made of frosty pink satin, cinched tightly at the waist by a pink rosebud, with a long train which is meant to drape around the front of the dress. A white faux-fur stole, three-strand pearl necklace, and a pair of white opera-length gloves provide the perfect finishing touch. Barbie also wears a pair of glittery mule pumps, so she can dance the night away!
The "Enchanted Evening" repro was released by Mattel in 1997, and (thanks to a large production run) can still be found for very reasonable prices on the secondary market. Next year, Barbie Collector will reissue the ensemble again, as the bonus fashion for a repro of the 1962 brunette 'Bubblecut' doll.

They are extremely durable and b/c they are plastic, are easy to clean. They have been dropped on our hardwood floor many times and have not even chipped! We have had no problems with them falling apart or "un-nesting" unless we pull them apart. I am ordering some more for a gift...every 2 year old should have a set!

Tika is supposed to swing her trunk around, pick up the little doll and put her on her back. You are supposed to put one of the little dolls in front of Tika on a little cardboard mat that shows you where to place them. 9 times out of 10 it misses, which became very frustrating for my daughter. She also ownes the little elephants that you hook together. She would much rather play with those.

My Little Pony Make me Better with Rarity the Unicorn Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great toy that my daughter loves. It has various sensor pads over its body, that when pressed evoke a response. So for example, when you blow its nose with the hankies provided the pony will respond by blowing and thanking you for doing so. (One of the reviews mistakenly suggests that you can't get to the two hankies. They come packaged between a sheet of plastic to keep them still for display purposes while packaged, but if you put your finger inside the tissue box you can pull them out quite easily and use them). Each sensor point has at least two different responses each time they are activated, so that keeps it from becoming too predictable and repetitive for a child.
It comes with a thermometer, medicine dispenser, stethoscope and two handkerchiefs. Its diaper and the Band-Aid are partially fixed to the toy, which is great because the Band-Aid would have been lost by now and my daughter has no problem "changing its diaper" and re-attaching the Velcro (I'm usually stuck having to do it with her other toys where the diaper comes off completely).
I would only give it 4 stars because there is no off switch. When my daughter just wants to take it to bed or hug it, she is met with a barrage of phrases, because sensors are being activated. In the end I had to take the batteries out so she could hug it and take it to bed without being woken up. Overall it's a great toy and makes an excellent gift for a child aged 2 - 6 years old.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. She's a little young, but really enjoys pretend play. The dollhouse is excellently made and seems to be very durable. The colors are great and not to bright and gaudy like some girls toys, just a pretty pink. The little people that come with it seem to be very durable too, they have the wire bendy bodies but do not seem like they will be easy to break or break at all. The furniture is the perfect size for little hands and has all of the basic things that you would want to come in this little set. The other great thing about this dollhouse is its size. We don't have a whole lot of room in our house and I really wanted my daughter to be able to bring her dollhouse out of her room and play in the living room where everyone else is. With this dollhouse she can carry it about, it's a bit heavy for her right now but doable. If you buy this dollhouse you will not be disappointed!!
